ASCENDO´s passive subwoofer Sub1-S was systematically developed for ultimate signal integrity. Its ideal sound reproduction quality is made possible by an extremely fast transient and decay behaviour as well as a superior drive / mass ratio.

The cabinet is optimally decoupled from the floor by its SUB-S base, made of polished stainless steel plus stainless steel / ceramic decouplers. This results in a definite plus in sound depth, spatial precision, dynamics and low-frequency resolution.

The SUB1-S can be excellently integrated into any existing system. Existing bass drivers and SUB1-S add up perfectly to one system and are perceived as one loudspeaker, with twice the linear stroke (more authority is not possible to achieve). In its SE version it is the perfect complement to the “Best of Best“ ASCENDO SE reference loudspeakers.
